suggestions please
My roommate's birthday is September 11. He's done so freakin' much for me the past year, I really need to get something nice for him. I'm pretty clueless, though.
Any ideas?

You probably know him better than anyone--what are his interests? Has he ever articulated a desire for something he wished he had? Something personal, such as an engraved money clip? A nice sweater for winter? A lobster and champagne dinner? A special edition of a good book? For instance, a first edition of THE MARTIAN CHRONICLES if he is a sci-fi addict.
Personally, I plan to bake him some cookies.

What is hgis taste in art? Find something you know he will like, have it framed so that it "works". Such gifts tend to last. dad
